ana_aquinoDe repente, não mais que de repente, muitas figurinhas carimbadas da imprensa sobem no muro.
Eu entendo que jornalista tem que ter isenção, mas chega a ser vergonhoso o tipo de argumento que uns e outros encontram pra justificar o injustificável. E, como desculpa, a “isenção”. Entre aspas.
Tem também os que simplesmente se calam. Somem, vão ali fazer uma coisa e já voltam. O silêncio como “proteção”. Entre aspas.
Nada os salvará, muito menos a covardia.
Nada nos salvará, muito menos a negação da realidade.
É momento de saber o que se quer. E dizer alto e claro.
Nada é melhor, ou pior, do que as consequências de nossas próprias posições.

All of a sudden, many among the press’ most popular characters are claiming neutrality.
I understand that a journalist must be balanced, but it is kind of shameful the sort of excuses some have been finding to justify the unjustifiable. And having quote, unquote, “neutrality” as the excuse.
Some simply shut up. They disappear, go some place to do something and will be right back. Silence as quote, unquote, “protection”.
Nothing will save them, much less cowardice.
Nothing will save us, much less the denial of reality.
This is the time for one to know what he/she wants, and to say it loud and clear.
Nothing is better or worse than the consequences of our own actions.

O artigo de Josias de Souza, na Blogosfera da Folha, e intitulado “Tudo é epílogo depois que a Dilma e o Lewandowski se reuniram em Portugal”  é um tanto longo para ser postado aqui no Blog do Lessa. Reproduzo aqui apenas o primeiro parágrafo. Como bem disse minha amiga Ana de Aquino… “Se você não se interessou pela situaçao limite que o nosso país está passando até o momento, preste atenção. Leia este texto. Nós estamos correndo um grande perigo. E isto vai muito além de partidos e ideologias.”

Pode-se afirmar com 100% de certeza que lá, na elegante hospedaria, a presidente se encontrou com o comandante do Supremo Tribunal Federal, Ricardo Lewandowski, e com o ministro da Justiça, José Eduardo Cardozo. Pode-se declarar também, sem margem para dúvidas, que os três tentaram manter a reunião em segredo. Por último, é imperioso constatar que essa conversa, por disparatada, jamais deveria ter ocorrido. Josias de Souza’s article on Folha de S.Paulo newspaper, titled “Everything is an epilogue after Dilma and Lewandowski met in Portugal” is a little bit too long to be posted here on The Lessa Blog. I’m displaying only the first paragraph of that text. As my friend Ana de Aquino has pointed out… “If you haven’t been interested in the absolute threshold situation our country is undergoing at the moment, pay attention. Read this text. We are in great danger. And this goes way beyond parties and ideologies.”
